Found this old video I never shared of an eggcelent recording session from a few years back. Serves as a reminder to always protect mics when recording anything greasy. Had borrowed the expensive Sanken CO-100K from a friend and I think it had a near dead experience

Did my first weapon session this weekend and think it went well - only had issues with one of eleven mic setups 😛 Managed to record 3 rifles and 2 shotguns. Would have been a mess without @aaronbrownsound.bsky.social's fantastic video guide, big shoutout #sounddesign #fieldrecording

Needed to set random automation values for a bunch of items in Reaper and was able to whip a script together that does it automatically since I couldn’t find anything doing just that. Gotta love how much we can customize Reaper! #gameaudio #reaperdaw

Love how much can personalize Reaper. Record a lot of impro sessions with my band and sometimes forget to arm tracks or have the wrong audio device selected. No more! 😌 Made a script that checks if all tracks with !! in the names are armed and if Fireface 800 is selected as audio device #gameaudio

One last quick nvk_CREATE experiment with splitting the result into low, mid and highs, morphing low and mids with the high layer for glue. Got some nice simple neutral-ish poofy building blocks for magic designs #gameaudio

Been recording with drop rigs the last month trying to capture some rare autumn bird song. Not a lot of success, but here are some nice outtakes. Distant pigeon take off, car honks and crow caw (heavy denoised) #sounddesign
