Sadly the release is kinda bittersweet because Coatsink just announced plans lay off around 60 employees, myself included - but trying not to let that darken the celebration of this achievement!

A special shoutout to @simonirvingjames.bsky.social who was my audio lead on the game, he did an impressive job keeping his head cold while managing everything and keeping a clear overview when things go chaotic, allowing me to dive deep into the sound designs

It has been an absolute pleasure working with the team at Coatsink on the game, and I loved how collaborative everyone were and always (well almost at least) remembered to include audio

We built some really nice tools for this game, like a custom audio portal system for FMOD, and I am excited to start sharing more behind the scenes stuff of both the tech, designs and recordings when I find a bit of time for that!

It has been so much fun working with this mad IP that allows you to sometimes do really over the top silly designs. And definitely enjoyed practising my alien gibberish and recreating iconic sounds from the films
