In my opinion the art hierarchy goes:
Museum art > normal art > street art > graffiti >>>>> tagging (wicked, immature behavior much like a dog urinating!!)

Imo pain and suffering sucks ass especially when it’s associated with evolving as an artist. I hate it and wish it would go away. I’m more into objectively beautiful things like a flower or rainbow for my art.
99% of art “appreciation” is socially motivated. The general public’s opinion is worthless because they’ll be polite or delude themselves if a friendly person puts art in front of them.
