sounds silly but sometimes i'm like "dang i can't believe i spent 15 minutes writing this comment" (yes i am one of those ppl who leave long-ass comments on ao3 and im not embarrassed to admit it) but then i remember that the author has spent exponentially more time writing the fic n feel better

won't lie it frustrates me a little when i'm drawing art that has dramatic lighting bc like. this illustration is so dimly lit why bother to render half of it?? and yet i do anyway (it's the principle of the thing!!!! + free practice + inexperience re: knowing if it'll be lit or not until the end)

this probably sounds silly for ppl with the opposite problem but i really wish i could post more sketches bc i am so full of Ideas and wips instead of doing fully rendered art

got some nice comments from my friends abt how prev art captured the church ambience well and i feel so validated lol (my secret is using a lot of references and also stealing backgrounds from tv shows. in this case the church from daredevil s3 fight)
