Looks like it didn't take long for these new bollards to do their job and protect people on the sidewalk. Hopefully will be replaced soon.

This is a decent example of a road diet. That's an old picture of Peachtree Center Ave in Atlanta. They reduced it to two lanes with a cycle track and parking/loading, with patterned crosswalks. Not perfect but much better! Here's the exact location on google maps: www.google.com/maps/@33.757...
