It was DJ Krush. His set was not at all what I was expecting but he absolutely smashed it!

It's a wedge issue but not a significant one. Israel/Palestine ranks near the bottom when people /under 30/ are asked about "major issues facing the US today".

This is why I've believed fully autonomous driving will never happen. In the real world, trolley problem type situations occur where there are limited choices and all lead to some level of harm. People cannot accept autonomous systems making decisions under these conditions!

More info here from an IDF spokesperson. Unverified but was retweeted by a source I trust.

Yes. I got it from a report in the Guardian, which was quoting The New York Times.

This YouGov poll from 2021 is quite interesting - 70% of respondents say they are proud to be an American. No breakdown by race but the income distribution wasn't what I expected, 54% of those earning under $40k said they were very proud.

Haha, this is just too perfect. Someone on Mastodon saw this comment and proceeded to check all Matt Blaze's BW photo posts, couldn't find any replies about content warnings because they don't understand how Mastodon federation works and then insinuated it was all made up.
10/10, no notes.

Not sure that is true. I don't think the claim originated from any actual use of kitty litter in schools, it's just a random urban legend. Using it as ballast makes no sense in any case - sand would be cheaper and would take up less space.

The UK highway code was updated recently to include a "hierarchy of road users" which states that:

"...those in charge of vehicles that can cause the greatest harm in the event of a collision bear the greatest responsibility to take care and reduce the danger they pose to others."
