A Tired Pterosaur

A dude who's obsessed with things that have been dead for millions of years.
Kem Kem pterosaur nerd.
My fiancée is the best!

Here's the new Utahraptor pair next to the originals. Feel like the eyes on the new ones might actually be too big, but definitely feel like more dynamic poses are easier these days.

Here's the new Baryonyx next to the 2018 original. Gone are the days of lipless, whiskered spinosaurids, plus the new one doesn't look like it's broken its' neck.

Here's the new Chasmosaurus next to the 2018 original. This might be my favourite glow up so far. The original was done at the time 'nose balloons' had been suggested for ceratopsids. I don't believe the idea has been disregarded, and I wanted to reuse it here.

Here's the new Lambeosaurus next to the the 2018 original. The original was drawn at a time when lambeosaurines were suggested to have soft-tissue extensions on their crests; an idea that was dismissed less than a year later.

Here's the new Protoceratops next to the 2018 original. I quite like the bumpy look of P. hellenikorhinus.

Here's the new Austroraptor next to the 2018 original. The biggest difference here is probably that the fish is an actual one that this animal would have encountered now.

Here's the new Amargasaurus next to the 2018 original. Really wanted to keep the thicker neck of the original one.

Here's the new Edmontosaurus next to the original. The Edmontosaurus was my least favourite of the originals so this glow up was definitely needed. The original depicts E. regalis, but this time I used E. annectens in light of the recent paper about the new mummy.

Here's the new version of the battling Daspletosaurus next to the 2018 original. I feel like more dynamic poses are a lot easier than they used to be. Also I actually used D. torosus as a base this time instead incorrectly using the unnamed Dinosaur Park species.

Here's the new Stegosaurus with the 2018 original. This colour scheme originated here with the plate colours referencing poppies in subtle reference to the 100th anniversary of Armistace Day, and now I can't imagine Stegosaurus without them, or that bottle-green neck.

Here is the new Dilophosaurus compared with the 2018 original. This is probably the first time I have directly taken the colour scheme 1-for-1 from the original.
