You know...I seem to recall a certain holiday involving a family fighting against an evil regime being trapped against impossible odds in a temple...and their light lasting just long enough, for more to be found.

It's not your religion, nor mine, but hope is hope. and in this, we are all siblings.

I don't know how much it might help but this thing has resonated with me: bsky.app/profile/stry...
For all the pain, and disappointment, and dread. All the misery and hurt, all the sorrow and death ahead of us, one thing remains true

I didn't hear no bell

Not sure exactly what you're trying to say with that image, but I am damn GLAD Trump isn't my father...just...ew.

That's perfectly valid, just save some of that anger to focus on fixing things, once you're ready.

Worrying about the world in which our children are supposed to grow up is part of the parental package - but know: you are not alone.

And there are very few things more dangerous than a mother protecting her offspring.

Whether you use a pen or a sword to fight, you have backup. Just ask.

They only win, if we stop fighting. This is that dark part of the story, where everything seems hopeless...but that's not the end of the book. This is where a good writer brings in something or someone to give the protagonist just enough hope to get up and keep fighting.

Be that hope.

Heroes are there to give us hope, and show us the way forward.

Instead of dimming your light, be the change you want to see, in the world.

If we all give up the war after one battle, the bad guys really do win.
