And it's always great to have your support. I'm having a wee break until late Summer, but future plans are afoot (but as it will involve #Fareshare again, I need to talk to them about plans first). But looking good 👍

I'm definitely going to learn more about this. I've seen other videos too which show a different rotation (but of the same side of the moon). So it's looking more & more that it is just some new lesson.

Every day's a school-day 👍

I knew that the same side of the moon always faced earth. But comparing the pics (taken 9 years apart), you can definitely see that it has rotated anti-clockwise a little. I didn't know that the moon did this.

The moon had a kind of halo (thanks to the sky being so dark there).

Great pics Sonja.

Not red for me when "walking" in Spain in 2016 either 🙁

Taken from the Parc Natural de l'Albufera, south of Valencia. The park has no artificial light, amazing dark sky, so visibility was great (nearest light was from a passing cruise ship out at sea - heading up to Barcelona?).

Pleasantly sunny here (unusual for March). I even saw a huge BEE on Monday - queenie looking for somewhere to build a hive probably? Didn't see a butterfly until AUGUST last year (normally see them daily from April/May), so seeing a bee this early in the year, is a very good sign 🐝

Taken a few years ago now. Arran as seen from Ayr Beach (near River Doon). Notable for swans in the SEA - it's actually the freshwater River Doon estuary.

And I didn't even have to bribe them with breid to get them all to swim in a line 😂

Spring has definitely sprung im Portugal (I saw a crocus sticking it's head up in the front garden earlier, so it won't be long in coming here either) 🌷

2012 - a strapping 6'4" Scot on top of a mountain (having just climbed up there).

2024 - a not-so-strapping Scot on top of a wheelchair.

It can happen to any of us, at any time.
