The proliferation of half-baked, disjointed AI tools jammed into every app in a company's ecosystem underscores the desperation to deliver in the wake of CharGPT. In the long run, this terrible UX has probably made consumers more wary of AI and less certain how to engage with it

here's a Not Terrible™️application of gen AI: summarizing a long Outlook email chain that someone forwarded. At least now I don't have to scroll through dozens of messages and try to ignore the headers, business signatures, and meeting info just to find the content that matters

I want the old Windows "save as" file browser back. The default now is useless and I have to click a bunch of times to get a proper directory listing window to pop up

Data Science programs often put too little emphasis on causal inference, and it’s hurting their graduates on the job market! The econometrics people are coming for your jobs lol
