Ah, I noticed your post about anticipating an appointment. That used to happen to me all the time to the extent I stopped going.

I'm *absolutely not recommending* doing that, but for me the anxiety of anticipating regular appointments made me feel worse than when I was attending them.

One of the strays I'm feeding, Jimmy White, turned up with an abscess above his eye the other day. I saw them rolling around fighting each other last week.

I think Pablo might have caused it. I hope not, but I can't think of any other cat he's had a go at.

Pablo has an injured paw. He can't put any weight on it so he's hopping around like a kangaroo.

I thought he'd thrown himself off a roof and landed badly, maybe broken his arm, but he was examined under anaesthetic and they found a bite.

He's been scrapping, the little bugger.

It's a really admirable thing you do when you take in a rescue cat; even more so with an elderly cat.

There's another stray moggy on the scene at the moment: Mickey Two Meals. He's been coming to the garden and getting fed.

I've put a bit of shelter out for him. Not sure if we'll take him in yet. Just playing it by ear.

Excellent work. When I was doing this in the 80s we used fine-point, black pilot pens to dot the pupils. That worked well too.
