Creating complex mazes is a core element of Portal Sentinels. As a cheap alternative to placing towers, you can place walls!
You can also replace them with a tower later on.

Quick look at the Trap Launcher Tower in Portal Sentinels!
Fills free nodes in a 3x3 radius around the tower with traps, damaging the enemies walking on it.
Upgrade paths will unlock more utility by adding stuns, bleeding damage, explosion radius and more.

Quick look at the Pyromancer Tower in Portal Sentinels!
Stacks up to 5 projectiles for an initial burst of damage, and a chance to inflict burn stacks on the target.

Still having a lot of fun implementing all the basic features of an RPG while experimenting with what could be some core mechanics of the game. (Assets are temporary)

Got a lot of papers to fill this month and a big trip coming in April so updates will be a bit slower.

Went a bit overboard and implemented a first version of the Loot System, with random rarity, affixes, tiers. Managed to do something quite modular to add, remove, modify values, weight etc.
(Assets are temporary!)

Started working on a prototype (assets are temporary).
Spell bar, cooldown management, tab/click targeting, player orientation, cast bars...
Next step: ~20 spells available, proceduraly generated rooms filled with enemies and i'll start playtesting the combat system

Got a sweet new logo for Astrow Games!

Hello everyone, I'm Astrow. I published my first commercial game a few weeks ago as a solo-dev, which was one of the hardest things I've ever done. After a few planned updates, I'm eager to start a more ambitious game. Can't wait to see what everyone is working on!
