100!!!, but and of us will convince ourselves that it's not real and we need to try harder! Do you remember about that cycle as much as i do? I mean, hypothetically obviously, not that i, a potential immigrant, would have any potential disabilities that would render me ineligible for immigration

I worked upto three jobs at a time on top of my undergrad, and then about the same on top of my PhD - i was very lucky as well, just before PhD i met my partner who had a job with a salary and he helped me a lot

I know! And yet those call centre and retail/hospo jobs had so many tranferrable skills to academia. Every time I get a bad paper review back, I think, this is nothing compared to the seven years i spent getting eviscerated working the Kmart returns desk

I'm halfway through Elantris and it's not half bad - took me a bit to get into it and now I'm invested enough that I'll finish this book and probably read the others set in this world. Its a little bit more fantasy forward than i like (i usually like a Robin Hobb situation) but its enjoyable
