Of the MDZS characters I'd like to portray: Xiao Xingchen would be a lovely and relatively simple solo cosplay, but I lack both the beauty and the serenity to depict someone described as "bright moon and gentle breeze"! Meng Yao's clothes would have to be handmade; I don't know how to sew.

Li Yu and Prince Jing have such elaborate outfits! And while I like Wang Xi very much, I don't know that I've actually seen a canon depiction of him - so I'm not sure that I would even recognise him, to say nothing of anybody else.

Xiyao is out because spouse dislikes JGY. While I could always take that role, with him as LXC, it's not much fun to do a couples' cosplay when one of you isn't that fond of the ship. And I wouldn't like to choose between LXC and JGY for a solo costume.
