I've spent the last month just making something for fun. Combining SDFs, wireframes, vector graphics and pixel art into an interactive galaxy map. This isn't tied to a larger project.

Source is included and it's made in Godot 4

I finally got a playable build with portals in Space Strife over on itch. I also put together a video devlog about it on YouTube (also linked to on itch).

I've been playing around with creating portals for a last level mechanic, it's taken a bit to get it looking mostly right, still work to do but I'm reasonably happy with them now.

Playing around with a new effect for a 'final boss'. I wanted to be more clever and use a single object and use the shader to mirror the mesh. But since there's only one object like this in the game, it's much easier to just clip along the center plane, duplicate and give one side a negative scale.

I made some VFX for different character abilities in my WIP game Space Strife. The game is about defending planets from alien attacks using tanks. It's a bit bullet hell and a bit WarHeads SE.

The different abilities are power up tanks, split projectiles and slow down time.

Introduce yourself with four video games

This is a pixel art background I made a few years ago and I’m still very happy with how it turned out. I used Blender to get the perspective correct on the spiral and the rest was done in Aseprite.
