Two mallard ducks take flight in the golden light of the day’s end. I discovered this magnificent location just an hour's drive from my home and fell in love with it. It’s an unspoiled natural setting, far from human activity, yet alive with vibrant life. Many species I’m not accustomed to seeing can be found here, existing in total peace and harmony. Grebes, various types of ducks, herons, and even barnacle geese thrive amidst a symphony of frogs. It’s a truly magical experience!

Enjoying longer days this week, I visited my favorite local protected area at sundown and photographed this great cormorant, displaying beautiful white filoplumes for the breeding season!

Back to sharing #wildlife content with this beautiful encounter I had on a South African morning.

We'd been tracking this pride of lionesses for some time to collect data. Given the prevalence of snaring in this reserve, it’s always a relief to find them healthy and simply relaxing in the bush.

We got twins!

I had the chance to witness an adorable scene in Amboseli, where rare twin #elephants were born just a few days before my arrival. Unfortunately, the lens I used there couldn't include the magnificent Kilimanjaro in the background, a truly magical moment 💛
