My dear friend Rania has just undergone an emergency cesarian to deliver her daughter. Both are in intensive care units and very vulnerable.
Any donations towards their care will be gratefully received.
Mohammed, their husband and father, has been injured and is unable to work.

I ran my first ultra marathon across the Scottish Highland Moors this weekend. It was fabulous!
Dava Way 50km. Great race, super people. More of this!

I have just signed up to my first Ultra Marathon race across the Dava Moor!
I shall not be fast. It's in November so that might be interesting in itself haha! The Dava way is in the North of Scotland, so yeah.

I ran a whole ass marathon yesterday. And the tide was so high that I couldn't run on one of my favourite stretches along the salt marsh. But I did it!

Oh, I thought when I got another brand of henna, and what came out of the tube (IKR, should've stopped there) was a very bright fire engine red, HOW BAD CAN IT BE??

Bogwitch status unlocked. 😱

There's a Massive fire on the moors in Northern Scotland. My local kirk is on a wee hill so we can see the doom approaching. Considerate of our forebears.

Bonus points for finding the nasty little bastard root that sent me arse over tits this afternoon.
Such fun, trail running!

Interesting that the worry is that it’ll hurt their legitimacy to keep the occupation going.

Let’s not be too mad dog killing everyone because if we kill fewer people a bit less cruelly we get to keep doing it longer - the moral aspect.

Private contractors make $1500 per demolished house. Just one of the horrific details in the Haaretz piece on the killing of people in Gaza looking for food. archive.ph/2025.06.27-1...

Black pudding. Cullen skink, and Cranachan. Creamy smoked haddock and potatoes. Raspberries and toasted oats, honey, and whisky.

Happy Easter guys. At least we’ve still got Werner Herzog.

It would mean a lot to Ahmad and Samar if we could help them build a life together. Things are bleak but they have hope for a better future! 🕊️

Most times on forest runs I find hidden gems like mushrooms or flowers, or a wee bird singing. Today it was a strange note with incomprehensible directions? Where are we going? What are we doing?

If I hadn't started trail running I probably would have lost my mind in the last year and a half or so. This was this morning. I mean, come on.

I have been scrolling so many happy pictures and stories, so may tears of joy and grief, so much rubble and hope, so many feelings. My words have dried up. I hope with all my heart that the worst is behind us. Free 🇵🇸
