Since they were so young, the human socialising part was easy. However, the kitten rearing is more difficult without a mother, especially because they suffer from sibling nursing.
Thankfully, while the little ones show Paprika that humans can be kind, Paprika helps us show them how to properly cat.

Since they were so young, the human socialising part was easy. However, the kitten rearing is more difficult without a mother, especially because they suffer from sibling nursing.

Lady Grimalkin and her brother, whose name is still a WIP, though we've taken to call him Houdini in the first days for reasons that are pretty self-explanatory.
Those 2 are about ~7w and were found on September 22th.
Unfortunately, their mother didn't have the resources to care for them.

After a month, we've made tremendous progress. He still doesn't want to be touched and runs back to his "lair" whenever someone gets too close or opens the door, but not only is he taking churu from my hand and playing with me, he's taken to spend some time next to my bed on the floor, just loafing.

Paprika, my sweet ~12w kitten who has been with us since September 8th.
We have strong reasons to think that he was adopted by tourists from someone on the island, dropped just before they left because he wasn't socialised to humans, and then spent 2 days in the rain before he ended up on our door.
