Tonight, I am going to be running another one-shot at a FLGS. I am running Masque of Worms by Arcane Library that I personally converted to #pathfinder2e. Arcane Library makes #dnd5e adventures and #shadowdark adventures and Kelsey's writing is awesome.

Its been months and things are still crazy. But I am finally running #Pathfinder2e games again. I have really missed my #ttrpg fix, and I was getting discouraged. Finding new players/groups in an area you aren't familiar with sucks! But don't get discouraged, keep at it, go to venues.

I ran my #pathfinder2e conversion of the DMDave #dnd5e adventure Shrine to the Emperor of Bones and the game went really well. The trap was a success, the combats were dynamic. My only criticism for myself is I keep forgetting to do more NPC dialog before and during encounters.

I love the world building you can IMPLY simply by putting titles to the books PCs find. Here is a short list of texts players will find in a NPC Bookcase. Simply throwing a few book names up there will give a peek into the history of the world and the motivations of the NPCs. #pathfinder2e #dnd

I am running a #Pathfinder2e one-shot conversion of DM Dave's Shrine to the Emperor of Bones. And I was inspired to make my own magical trap. Something much more thematic than just a damaging trap. I love Pathfinder's traps and afflictions so much more than #dnd5e #ttrpgs

Stealth DC 18 or Detect Magic
Description Runes are etched along the edge of the archway leading down the hallway. They are shallow and slightly covered by dirt and grime.
Disable Thievery DC 23 (expert), Arcana DC 23 (expert) or Dispel Magic (3rd level; counteract DC 22)
Touch of the Emperor [reaction] (arcane, curse, detection, void) Trigger: a living creature passes through the archway. Effect: The runes on the archway pulse with a sickly light and a wave of energy surges outwards. The triggering creature and all adjacent living creatures make a DC 26 Fortitude save.
Critical Success The target is unaffected
Success The target is Drained 1 and Enfeebled 1 for 1 hour

Playing #pathfinder2e AP Abomination Vaults and my Level 2 Gunslinger took 39 damage from a single crit hit by a Morlock. He has 20 HP max... The GM rolled 1 less than the requirement to insta-kill him. Then the bastard took my double barrel rifle and used it against my party, critting them too!

I'm a firm believer in separating game mechanics from world lore.
It's why my #pathfinder2e homebrew world has only two titles for magic users: Magi or Conjurers. Following that vein, all members of the religious organization are given the title of Templar. This is regardless of mechanical ability

The crafting rules for #pathfinder2e (Alchemical in particular) are actually really good. It's just that most GMs don't really give players downtime.
Solution? Change all crafting times to 1 day and allow more batches per check.
Make the game yours and do what's fun.

I introduced my new character to my #pathfinder2e group on Sunday, and it didn't go well. He is a Duskwalker Elf Spellshot Gunslinger. At level 2, he has a +11 to hit. He has an AC of 19 and some decent skill and knowledge scores.
