ASPA SICA is grateful to Aroon Manoharan for leading this section for the past two years when SICA has thrived, reflected on its history, and shared its achievements with the global community.

The social media committee is just one of his many contributions. We are proud to have been led by him!

Dr. Kaifeng Yang won the Fred W. Riggs Award for Lifetime Scholarly Achievement in International and Comparative Administration. He is the Dean of SPAA at Rutgers–Newark, for his work in performance management, citizen engagement, public human resource management, and digital governance.

The article "Context, Culture, and Governance in an Informal Community in Ghana: A Case Study for Community-Based Adaptation in Public Administration" received the Jean-Claude Garcia-Zamor Best Paper award. Congratulations to Jessica Kritz from Georgetown University, and Peter Haruna of Texas A&M.

ASPA SICA is better because of Dr. Meghna Sabharwal´s leadership, commitment, vision, great mentorship, and compassion. She received the Jeanne-Marie Col. Leadership Award and thanked Dr. Col for pioneering SICA.

Dr. @cristinastk.bsky.social delivered an insightful inaugural speech as incoming Chair, while Dr. @Jungwon Yeo gladly assumed the role of Chair-elect. They announced the election of two new board members, Dr. Samanta Varela and Dr. Bok Gyo Jeong.
