It's been taken down, but this sort of thing boils my blood.

My family wonders why I'm so loud about genAI, because they find it cute. GenAI feeds on the IP of real, hardworking artists in order to produce mass amounts of crap.

Glad the thing was suspended at least. Keep being loud, folks.
The freaking nerve. I don’t want to advertise them but they have other projects that they probably stole too

Idk if you can report it too or find them but god knows I really crave violence rn

People seem to like my little stone sculptures, so I'll share a few more.

This one was carved for a friend of mine. He likes to share stories about his pet crows from the 60's and 70's.

Stone fox for my bff. Working on some smaller baby foxes to go with it.

Chose this stone since it promised to have some red in it, and it did not disappoint. I am so happy with that red streak.

Admiring the cool little imperfections in the bison. It's like mint chocolate chip.

Got some messages about how to get started in stone carving. Please check out Rubble Road! You'll get a pre-cut piece of stone, simple tools and instructions. It's great for getting into the hobby.

(And don't forget your dust mask)
Really happy with this little guy. The stone came out so beautifully blue in the end, and the deer antler idea worked out great.

I can never think of names for these little animal sculptures, got any ideas?

Work in progress. Tomorrow I'm going to try and carve some antlers into buffalo horns.

I ~may~ be able to open my Shop again this month. It's been closed since US shipping got wildly complex/expensive for buyers, and I may still limit orders from there. But I am slowly figuring things out with ChitChats as a new shipper.

Both pets managed to get injured in unrelated events within a week of each other. We are now a cone household.

(They are both fine and nearly healed but why you gotta do it at the same time, my dudes)

Finally get to tease a game I worked on with @paulsalomon27.bsky.social / Gamehead!

Friendly Fishing will be out next year. Details are up on BGG.

In the face of all the nonsense impacting actual artists, projects like this shine all the brighter. I'm a huge fan of Laika and can't wait to see this one.

Beep boop still working on secret things. Here's some money I designed for the Canadian Mint last year.

Hard to believe I carved this 3 years ago now. My last black stone sculpture. Weighs a tonne, and the low-talc stone was so difficult to carve it broke half my tools.

I'm still kinda sad I had to sell Mr. Crow, but apparently he lives in a rather nice lakeside cabin now

All art is still NDA, but hopefully by January I can share at least 5-6 games I've been working on.

Chomping at the bit to share because I'm super proud of them.

Throwback piece in the meantime

Here's my first ghost story, happened about two weeks ago. I'll share more stories as we get closer to Halloween.
Story Context: I live on a farm that's been in my family for over 220 years. I take regular night walks with the dog and, despite having some seen some ghosties, they've always been inside.

Last full moon I took the dog out. I take no light since I know the land well enough, and we meander (1/7)

I keep wanting to draw spooky things but I'm a bit too swamped with NDA work.

Would anyone like ghost stories instead? I've got a few.
