Splitting my attention between two energy points either inside or outside my body - feeling that polarity, then allowing it to build up energy by simply holding the awareness.

Also opening energy points along my body and placing drops of consciousness and energy inside while observing the effects.

In the system I’m using the heart chakra is associated with feelings of freedom, love(ofc), and the air element. Feeling the breeze through the tree branches, or the oxygen moving through the lungs around the chest bones

It’s so rare that I meet someone with similar interests, even though I’ve tried on Bluesky for a while.

I want to respond to everything you’ve said but I need to at least make it to the work parking lot. I’m stoked, can’t wait to carry on this conversation.

P.s. how you decide to move and mix the energy is up to you, energy will follow thought, consider encouraging the body to assist the mind by creating tactile sensation with visualization to move the energy. Sitting in the center while mixing(seeing, tasting, feeling) from the dan increases the effect.

The mixing works best if you’ve taken some time charging up the chakras with the inertial elements they associate with, then mix that energy in the lower center. Double points if you also add positive emotionality such as laughter, confidence, passion, etc. 2/2

Forgive my poor spelling. The term is from Traditional Chinese Medicine and martial arts, it’s "dantian".
There are considered to be three centers and the lower center is just below the navel and inside the body near the center line. It’s the safest place to experiment with mixing.

I was taught to mix the chakra energy in the lower Dan Tien to create alchemy. Have you ever tried it?

It’s funny that you mention that, IRL, as well as online I see that response as one of the number one reasons folks struggle, and it’s that meditation is “just too hard”. Not to toot my own horn, but I have ADD and deal with it just fine. It’s a matter of “how much do you want it?”

That’s deep, I simply am parroting what I read from a martial arts teacher that also teaches meditation and chi development. In one of his books he mentions that some folks may be unable to generate chi

The spiritual experiences I’ve had prior to even starting to practice anything blow my mind and I just wonder if there’s a subset of the population that is not able to have experiences of that type so they just never develop an interest in anything spiritual related

Personally, I just think working with energy is so much more interesting than sports and I’m surprised there aren’t as many people that pick up this as a hobby or an interest

I’m hoping to continue improving with this stuff myself. Just this week I’ve been able to start turning the energy towards fighting off some very persistent depression, and it worked wonderfully.

There is a lot of overlap between systems. How would you describe your method?
