But if I start giggling with joy while moving my arms in a strange way my spouse gives me a look.🤣

At least the cats don’t care when I clean out the energy body.

Had a few interesting moments wherein sending positive emotions into the stomach, and sitting deep in the area relieved some pain, and caused emotional release. It felt great. This is a skill that requires pursuing!

When moving my point of awareness to my dan tien, I’ll sometimes get small discharges of energy. Is this normal within qigong? If I want to allow the energy to stay within the dan, are there any effective methods of placing awareness without the energy zapping in the direction of my consciousness?

I’ve been exploring fuller, more relaxed breathing in qigong. It’s helped—but when energy starts to move, tension still shows up. Lately, it’s the neck and a few places around the lower abdomen. Curious to see what softens with time. Bringing attention to those areas, seemingly helps with release.

During qigong warmups and active relaxation recently(no energy work), I sensed a vast, spacious presence beneath me. As I relaxed, parts of it flowed through me, bringing a wave of positive emotion. These things only seem to happen in groups/with my teacher present—for now.

Glad my brain's coming back online. My therapist suspected alcohol withdrawal, but after some research, I think it’s PAWS (Post-Acute Withdrawal Syndrome). That unshakable depression and gut tension finally make sense. Grateful to my therapist for the insight.
Now it’s time to continue hobbies!

the Glenn Morris version of the Middle Pillar exercise works so well for me even when I’m experiencing bodily tensions and emotional disturbance.

Something is healing just about every time I use this, may have to do an extended version on a weekend to see just how far I can take it.

Learning how to access the Chong and the “middle” of the energy centers along that line has been very helpful in boosting mood and energy levels. Just trying not to abuse this like I do with coffee. 😅

Enhancing the energy sensation around the skin will help me perceive attachments and cords, and eliminating those will provide for more positive emotion and energy for my Qigong practice. This makes is an ideal focus for the time being, as I’ve been feeling energetically sticky as of late.

I've noticed an increased awareness of the Dan Tiens and a few chakras. I also realized I haven't experimented with circulating chi around the middle Dan Tian—so I tried it, and it opened up a light, airy joy and even released some stuck chi from the area.

Two practices today: first, moving chi through the girdle vessels, strengthening it, adding the inner smile, and spiraling it down into the earth and up from the head. Thinking about focusing on girdle vessel chi circulation for a week to deepen energy perception around the body.

90% of the posts I see are memes or self promotion. Sometimes both.

Is this just the state of social media?

I’d rather read real thoughts about someone’s passionate interests.

I also wish I could block all political posts so I could focus on the reason I joined which was only to discuss hobbies

Friend assisted me in energetic cord cutting, then I launched into my qigong practice with inner smile. Did my own energetic clearing process and practiced running energy throu the front, back, and side channels.
Good practice tonight.

Practice was basic, moving small amounts of emotional and elemental alchemy, some middle brain sitting as it gets shakti flowing.

Basic practice with Zhan Zhuang including feeding chakras.

Becoming aware of internal emotional distress. Now I gotta work on understanding the cause and get better at dissolving and healing it. Golden light/ middle pillar meditation works well for it though.

I tend to work through lunch when I take Adderall. But promised my therapist I would eat 3 meals a day.

Suppose I can handle taking breaks and chatting with coworkers, I’m blessed with some really good ones.

Anyone run happy emotions while performing your meditation? I find that encouraging a smile and happy feelings during meditation makes it easier to do. (Also, much more fun.)

Interesting lecture on using chi to heal. Went over some basics and methods to practice. Seems useful. Will find ways to experiment on myself.

Seated elemental cultivation today.
Mixing energy in the Dan Tien and running it up and down the central channel.

Need to work on relaxing my jaw. My smile starts to get tight.

Yesterday was an evening practice. Honestly it was Hakuin’s Healing Ball, Brain Scrub, Golden Light / Middle Pillar Meditation, again.

It works so well for me.

I promise to move forward into new kundalini shakti material today! 😇
