I just want to say that somehow ironic engagement begging on Twitter caused this to get shared around like crazy and I'm actually kind of embarrassed because I think it's such a weak piece.
I finished a painting. Please clap.
Really though, definitely a lot I wish I'd done differently/better, or just more time-efficiently, but we learn as we go.

I don't generally promise delivery times unless it's specifically requested and I think it's do-able. But there very much is a "your project will be done when it's done" aspect to the fact that I very likely have multiple paid clients in queue and a lot of people don't respect/consider that.
Guys, call me crazy but I think it's absurd that some artists/makers can take 100 percent up front payment and then just say "oh you'll get it when you get it." Like can somebody explain how this is the norm? It makes me upset to hear how people get ghosted when all they want is art of their own.
