I know! I remember hearing it during something I was watching and thinking it was a great out of context line. I'd provide what I was watching but at this point I legitimately no longer remember.

I think it'd make much more sense to, in addition to prior due dilligence, employ a team of gameplay detectives who play the game but submit notes and observations and metrics about the play styles they observe. Hopefully this would allow one to be responsive to emergent scans and cons.

A more speculative category is "I know the game and enjoy emergent tactics [communication not expected]"

In general it's pretty easy to start further speculating ways players might start using these queues to engineer wins by wolf-in-sheep's clothing it, or something like that.

The first idea that comes to mind as a corrective would maybe have two or three distinct queues based on player intention -- "I just want to play my favorite superhero!" ; "I want to play solo." ; "I want to play as part of a team (with an expectation of communication)"

An interesting reverse was Super Mario World -- I played it by using Blue Yoshi and cape to essentially fly over many parts of the levels. It was A LOT of fun to go back with years and years of platforming skills and appreciation and play some of these levels for real for the first time.

Admittedly, I don't know what conclusion my opponent would draw from Nightswimming by R.E.M on repeat, but I'd like to imagine it would be something vaguely intimidation worthy...
