Since I just watched this week’s episode without live tweeting, I dictated my thoughts to Siri to put into Notes app. #Pluribus // some of the words are Siri attempting to phonetically decipher what I said, not what I said word-for-word.

I’m watching episode 5 of #LoveAndDeath and all I’m reminded of is how suggestible people can be in induced trance states and how unreliable, and thus lacking in utility in any court setting, much less a criminal court. But this is the early 1980s. Today, maybe Candy would have been evaluated for >>

Just started watching The Pod Generation — Emmy Clarke moved up the wait list to have her future child gestate in an artificial womb (which looks like is mostly available to upper middle class moms who have the financial backing of their workplace). She hasn’t told her husband yet ➡️ central conflict

Saw Ladybug (2024) on my Tubi recommended list. Looks spooky and atmospheric indie. Let’s do this! #TubiYellingWithKat

WELCOME TO DERRY's General Shaw Is a No Good, Very Bad Man (and I Hate Him)
IT: Welcome to Derry reveals what we've always know: General Shaw is an awful man with a plan that is painfully stupid.

Every so often I get the extra melancholic, slowed down version of “Shout, shout (let it all out)” — the theme for tv adaptation of Stephen King’s The Institute — stuck in my head and I fall down yet another YouTube rabbit hole. It’s an incredible series that at its scariest is merely depicting >>

Bodyguard of Lies (2025) is a sobering documentary. Thorough and compassionate. A must-watch. Thanks for the recommendation, @conspiracytheshow.bsky.social — this viewing was time well-spent.

Next film in my queue: #AmIOkay, which from the trailer sounds like the story of a late-blooming lesbian played by Dakota Johnson. Her name is Lucy. She already gives me queer woman vibes. // and for the record, she shouldn’t feel obligated to fuck her man friend — even after he put up her shelf.

Next on the docket —> the similarly themed: #WeLiveInTime. I think this is the first time I’ve seen this film with the help of audio description. A posh British woman is narrating. Huh…
Finally getting around the watching Love and Other Drugs. Why the delay, you dear readers might ask: well, I love Anne Hathaway and find Jake Gylanhall (sp?) ‘s face far too punchable — he’s always playing creeps. And there’s all too well. // but Annie - one scene in - is utterly delightful.

This is for Episode 7, not episode 6. I had it wrong here. #ItWelcomeToDerry #spoilers
Wasn’t expecting a Jack-Rose-and the door scenario. Although I think Rich made the right (and very selfless) call here. Even if there was enough room for both of them in the fridge — the oxygen would run out much faster. #WelcomeToDerryEpisode6 #spoilers

So #spoilers for #Pluribus #PluribusEpisode6 Carol found shrink wrapped, maybe frozen, definitely preserved in some way pieces of human bodies. A warehouse full of them. That were sent through meat grinders, then ovens. Before hive mind vacated town. Since the hive mind is entirely unsentimental.

Today’s #TVYellingWithKat is Cometierra // Unburied (2025).
A new tv show about a teenager with superpower I never expected but am really enjoying thus far: Unburied ([2025] Cometierra). Aylín experiences snapshots of missing people when she tastes dirt. Sometimes the dirt quite literally cries out to her and/or reaches out to her. Intriguing premise indeed.

So is Ingrid (Lily’s housekeeper ally who works at Juniper Hill) only one who is *misguidedly* seeking out Pennywise? Maybe thinking he’s her father returning as a benevolent entity? I assume Pennywise has borrowed her father’s likeness. Would 1906 line up w/ prev Pennywise cycle? #WelcomeToDerry
