May I just say that the hard line @alaskaairlines.bsky.social takes with enforcing their "You must use headphones or silence your device" policy is GLORIOUS and I wish flight attendants on other carriers showed the same initiative in caring for other passengers by enforcing a similar rule. 🔇

Weird thing with the new @alaskaairlines.bsky.social SEA/LHR route - you can buy one way fares from SEA to LHR with cash, but if you try to go LHR to SEA they only have points redemption, no cash options.

So @alaskaairlines.bsky.social wouldn't let me get on any of the three earlier Portland connections home because "you and your checked bag must stay together". So the irony that they left my bag in Seattle and now have to put it on a later flight is not lost on me.

Flight from SEA to MSY. 1st class paid for using mileage. Plane had mechanical, and got swapped with a 7-800 and lost my 1st class 4A seat for 15A coach. No refund. No explanation.
Zero consultation or seat choice - take it or don't go - isn't a choice.

I've waited on hold (twice) for CS. Over a 1 hour wait is not customer service. Then call cuts off. You're not even doing call backs. This is why ppl hate acquisitions. My call keeps getting disconnected. Do better.

AA member for over 25 years, I’ve witnessed a steep decline in CS. 1st class, what used to be a simple courtesy like receiving water immediately upon boarding now takes 10–15 min. or longer. Awful service, and their chaotic takeoff timings only add to the frustration. @alaskaairlines.bsky.social
