Our United Airlines pilot made sure to emphasize *Mexico* when he said we'd be flying over the Gulf of *Mexico* today.

It's the little things. Microdose hope.

As a teacher, if there is one soft skill I would advise parents to work on with their kids, it's identifying their turn to speak in a conversation. Whether out of excitement, curiousity, or anger, students struggle to understand conversational turn taking.

The way the federal government is handling Trump right now kind of feels like when I let my toddler tantrum on the grocery store floor to get it out of her system. Except instead of just knocking a few boxes off of shelves, Trump is eroding the fabric of our democracy.

Jasmine Crockett: "The problem is that Americans thought it was okay to take a full fledged criminal and make him the President of the US and then they want to act aghast when he does criminal things. Let me tell you, we have a thug in charge of the US and if we don't wake up we may not have a US"

Well I picked my woodworking hobby back up at an inconvenient time...

Hell yeah. Life is going to get way more inconvenient than a freeway shut down if we deport 11 million people.
Anti-ICE protesters in California have shut down the 101 freeway in Los Angeles marching towards City Hall.

Spoiler alert: if "public school doesn't work for your kid," chances are private and charter schools won't accept your kid. Vouchers are a scam.

This is what the government did with 120K+ Japanese Americans in 1942.

I know. I was there in those camps.

I went to an extremely conservative Baptist university. There, I lost both my religion and my conservatism. Eliminating liberal / "Marxist" academics from universities won't do anything to counteract the liberating effects of knowledge.

President Trump just shut off funding for law enforcement, farmers, schools, veterans, and health care.

We are working diligently to reverse this, but we are preparing for every outcome to help Minnesotans weather this storm.

Minnesota needs answers. We’ll see Trump in court.

I know it's going to be tough going without food, medicine, and housing, but Space Force will be overseeing more than 150 orbital launches this year.
To be clear, those are cis white hetero alpha rockets, so funding isn't affected.

Can someone please explain to me how the president has time to play sports? I'm running a household of four and teaching full time, and I only get like 5 hours of sleep a night if I'm lucky. But the guy in charge of the whole ass country has time to recreate?

“Well, Trump won and now he’s gonna destroy Gaza.”

“Yep. We’re paying the price for the Democrats’ incompetence.”

“‘We?’ The Gazans are paying the price, not us”

Pause.

“I needed to make a statement.”

The kids in my high school classes who said, "When are we ever going to use this?" are now climate deniers and vaccine deniers and election deniers. So I guess the answer was, "For you, never."
