Whoa, this book in general has been hard to get back in the day, but didn’t realize the value of #djunabarnes today. And yes, this is on Amazon and the hardcover is a little out of my budget. But glad I can get an affordable version as a first read/listen.

I love David Sedaris, even bought a ticket thinking I was going to make a bold change to my life. Instead I’m home attending to my “duties.” With that said, I have other things in my life to change before seeing and meeting a beloved author or any type of artist. I need to unbury myself first.

Ok, II will say that #AI is decent at summarizing things (like the best google search results or meeting notes. However, always do some fact checking. In this case, Oct 17 2025 has not happened yet, as AI is implying. Unless maybe they are in a galaxy far, far away . . .

I’m a little obsessed with this cookbook. Got the first one well over a decade ago and now that I found it’s out of print I love getting used copies on #abesbooks. Will admit I don’t use the recipes often since I’m the only one that would eat authentic dishes like this, but love it.

Just finished a prior book from Libby (how to borrow ebooks or audiobooks from your library if you do t know). Self Care is amazing. Definitely ready for this one . . .

I have autopilot mode as well. Don’t expect others to have it really. Next chapter/essay after this. . . Relatable and reminding me to stay strong.

#Resilience my trusty charcoal grill I’ve had for years & has yet to fail me. She even had a big ass tree branch (as big as a typical tree) fall on her maybe 7 or so years ago, which I missed myself minutes before. My partner hates this broken piece of “trash” and I think they feel I am the same.
