The SVX now has the winter tires + factory wheels!
The wheels are uni-directional and it’s easy to accidentally put them on the wrong side.
Case in point: the SVX at the top of the SVX Wikipedia page has the rear wheel on wrong.

I drove this 1997 SVX last weekend.
It was amazing to be in the presence of this oddball heckblende-y Subaru.
Driving didn’t feel as amazing but I also stayed within posted speed limits so maybe the flat-6 engine is capable of more than I experienced.

14 years ago today, I paid $$ to watch Charlie Sheen - at the height of his crazy unfiltered meltdown.
I went alone because back then I had no persuasion skills which is not to say I have any now 🤷♂️

Very ironically, I walked past the not-at-all bike-friendly mayor of Ottawa moments before taking these photos.
It happened quickly and I was too meek to express my opinions on transit and bike lanes but I hope he saw my wife’s Queen Elizabeth National Urban Park t-shirt 😅 @bikeottawa.bsky.social
