I followed a stack exchange answer and changed python3.8 to a symbolic link to 3.10

Everything stopped working. I was like oh okay no problem I’ll just uninstall and reinstall 3.8

I’m now in the drat Stone Age. don’t even have network drivers anymore. Also my portable hard drive died.

I've been so busy that I spent today editing down the past two weeks of screen recordings into timelapses. :x

Just remember, the solution doesn't have to be your solution. You are just as valid in charging for all the time you've spent studying the solutions of others as you are in creating them yourself.

It's easy to feel incensed with this (ignorant at best, entitled at worst) behavior however it can be solved with this simple arcane incantation: "Yes, I'd be happy to help you find a solution, my consulting fees are $x per hour."

My experience is that people don't want to commission you to design or innovate.
What they will ask for is a (often singular) bootleg of a mass manufactured product that already exists, for a price cheaper than retail.
What they actually want is a personal discount dispenser.
