I had one do that with potassium and immediately aspirate and have to get tubed. The world moved in slow motion as I watched it happen.

To be fair, he probably hadn’t heard about Aunt Rosemary either. 🫠

Very first time my then-2yo threw up, after a long night of about a dozen episodes of vomiting, it turned bright red.

My husband had given her red Gatorade. I almost lost my mind lol.

Very much so. I worked there then and left in 2018 due to it changing so much.

Meanwhile we can’t get metal detectors or even a lunch break. I’d gladly give up my BSN tuition reimbursement for a metal detector. You’d have a nurse that knows the same stuff and is happier to come to work. Win-win.

Dead convinced it’s a circular scam. Magnet wants BSNs so hospitals pay for them so schools jack up the tuition knowing it’s covered. Then Magnet accredits and hospital admins are happy and everybody hugs because all of this apparently means something.

Like…I’m literally getting all 100s in these courses and have not cracked open a single book in this program. If my work experience has given me
this knowledge, why do I need this class? And why on God’s green earth is it $700/course.

I made my husband take a swig of the Go Lytely because if I had to taste it, he did too.

I joined our HOA board exactly for this reason. It’s 10x better than the neighborhood FB group. So many deets.

My hospital gave us those letters too. We didn’t ever need them, but I kept it in the car.
