Literally the only thing I missed about living with my ex was that he got the knots out of my back, you know the ones under the shoulder blade.
Today I figured out how to prop one of these bad boys into the couch cushion so I could go to town on those knots, and WHEW! Single life is 100% fulfilled

There is a wonderful exhibit at the Bronx Zoo about the devastating effects of deforestation and pollution. And what do we spot on the floor of the exhibit? 🤬

When I first had my own place and my own tree, I wanted it to be one of those basic magazine color-coordinated ones. Now with my son, I am embracing the messy, handmade, mismatched ornaments. Even (shudder) the colored lights. When he says “it looks awesome, Mom,” it really does.
