This system follows closely on the heels of another winter storm from about two weeks ago that brought snow to parts of Texas, including the Panhandle-South Plains and Dallas-Fort Worth. “As Arctic air from Siberia tracks across the state, temperatures are expected to plunge into the coldest weather of the winter season so far. Some areas could see single-digit lows, while temperatures may dip into the low teens, with subzero readings expected in the northern Panhandle.”
