In a review that I wish I could release to the public (the three people who would find it interesting), I was essentially told that I didn't know what I'm talking about because I was challenging the Watson & Crick of psychology.

IMO claims that non-OS people are hostile are largely overstated. Sure, some senior folks are hostile toward OS. Many young people (incl trainees) are open to it, but might not be trained in labs that use OS practices. I'd like to think those folks could be persuaded. Hostility doesn't help.
