During finals week, I try to eat a bunch of protein to give myself energy without having to consume a crazy amount of caffeine. My favorite protein filled food is chicken so I have lots of that. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

Tom talks about how hard it was to go back to the doctors because he was so shamed for his weight. As all future healthcare workers we need to learn how to truly advocate for our patients without shaking them for their live style choices.

Growing up we were never allowed to have raw cookie dough. I never really understood what the reason was but now as an adult I realize the dangers there is when eating raw cookie dough!

My usual food choices involve lots of pasta, whether it’s with sauce or just butter. To be more nutrient dense I could add protein to my food. I could add chicken to get that protein I need to my usual food choice. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

After recording everything I ate in 24 hours, I was surprised how difficult it was. I don’t think I could do it everyday accurately. It was an interesting activity to do.

After this week, I have realized that I need to look at serving sizes and calories more. I tend to eat as much as I want to without looking at serving sizes. As an example, cheezits, they seem like they wouldn’t be a lot of calories but it depends on how many servings you have.
