what's eye-watering is The Economist's implication here that maternity and paternity benefits in a country that lags behind every other developed nation in such is "too costly." Improving the lives of the average American over the billionnaire class is never "too costly."

Tall boys are 16 oz, so:

6 cans of 12 oz = 72 oz total
3 cans of 16 oz = 48 oz total

That's 2 standard cans fewer. Joke would have been better with 4 tall boys imo!

I mean, I'm a member. I know full well about their campaigns to stir shit at state capitals and draw attention to laws that attempt to reintegrate Christianity into public schools. But if you ask for personal help? That'll be crickets for you. And I'm not talking financial help, either.

I agree with the point, but this is a ripe example of "correlation =/= causation"

The papers could be writing about it more simply because the public is more invested in it, not the inverse
