I did not know that. I read The Vampyre by Polidori as part of my research for a play I did about Mary Shelley and her mother Mary Wollstonecraft in 2018. It‘s fine…? But compared to Frankenstein it’s clear why Shelley & Byron threw their stories out. 🤣
