I really enjoy the British Ecological Society. They put on a lot of very useful webinars and have a ton of resources, especially for scientific writing, a true love-hate relationship of mine. Check out their two workshops this month:

Of course! I actually just received some gifts from my family about women in science, and while the gesture is extremely thoughtful, they are all related to lab work and microscopes. I find it very amusing that after all these years, my family still has that same stereotype 😆

Kery & Kellner have written a new book! If this were the 00's, I would totally be lining up outside my local bookstore for the midnight release! They were looking for proof-readers a couple weeks ago. Not sure if volunteers are still needed...

Uni of Saskatchewan is looking for a research associate to lead planning/logistics for the Karrak Lake research station in Nunavut. Initially a 2 yr appointment. Projects on light geese, king eiders, shorebirds, foxes and Arctic ecosystems. More info here:
