#TWS2023
Good morning @wildlifesociety!

I’m looking forward to the plenary “Communicating in an era of science mistrust.”

Rebuilding trust in science starts within our community, too.

Now’s the time to bring trust back to peer review and scientific publishing.

It’s been so fun to see the expertise of @wildlifesociety come together!

Results from day 1 has the endangered species stack the highest, but occupancy modeling isn’t far behind!

Come see the @stacksjournal booth (104) to see the stacks grow and grow!

Driving vs flying: Carbon footprint, driving has less emissions than flying.

Driving vs flying: Driving is safer travel for the immunocompromised.
Covid-19 is alive & kicking & mutating.

Driving vs flying: Driving is easier to get around go hiking, go to Dave and Busters😏

Driving wins!!

#TWS2023 last week was a huge step forward for scientific publishing.

We received unbridled enthusiasm for The Stacks from hundreds of researchers from @wildlifesociety.

It's time to strengthen peer review and make it easier to share our findings. Exciting times ahead! 🎉📚🔬

Curious to see what handles ecologists will use in their presentations and posters for TWS2023. I use Fosstodon a lot more than Bluesky because I get more engagement there and it’s where my R community is mainly too. I still get a lot of engagement on X so I’m still including it.
