proportions all adjust to taste, but both of these took 5 mins or so to pull together. for apples, I did 2:1 ratio of sugar to spices.
easy, fast, and pretty inexpensive from multipurpose supplies.

dessert:
peel and thin slice apple (1 each/person). same skillet. med heat, pat of butter, turbinado sugar, pumpkin spices, mix w/melting butter
add apple slices, stir until warm, softened, and coated. divide into heat safe small bowl/ramekin.
spoon over a little liquid from skillet.
