Public library middle management. Doing my best in a profession that wants to reduce me to ash in the name of The Greater Good. Queer. Disabled. They/Them. Formally known as callingasher/mxasherthelibrarian on the bird site
I am successful today because of her fierce advocacy and early intervention. I've busted my ass to be a successful manager, to not let things fall through the cracks, to stay on top of my to do lists, etc etc. Telling me I don't seem disabled diminishes my struggle on top of being ableist.

I bust my ass to compensate for my learning disabilities and was deeply lucky to get a diagnosis as an afab kid in the early 90s. I was the first child with an IEP in my school. My mother had to fight every step of the way and threaten to take people to court over my ADA rights.

My spouse is reading some histories of Norse Paganism by the Troth (I do not remember the titles) and relaying them to me as they take notes

Oh man I missed this book when it came out. I discovered Grimsley in high school and his books left a lasting impact on me. I'm tossing this into my TBR list.
