I will also say that in college as an English major, I really bought into the idea that genre fiction had less value than "real literature." It took a long time after college for me to understand all the reasons that is not true and appreciate genre fiction again.

It was pretty simple for doctors to be willing to prescribe medicine, but a challenge to find one I could tolerate (for unrelated medical reasons.) Hopefully you're able to find something that works. Medicine has changed my life!
