I don't listen to Bad Bunny nor did I watch the half time show. But if it was enough to trigger MAGA then it's good enough for me.

I want to say this too: this victory was won because we had observers EVERYWHERE. ICE and CBP couldn't set foot in our city without cameras rolling. Much of the nation seemed determined to ignore our plight for weeks, but the avalanche of documentation we produced dragged the nation to us.

Somewhere, deep in his soul, you know that Trump admires the ruthlessness of the Iranian regime.

"Conman lies about being pro-peace" is something anyone with a brain could have anticipated but there's a large part of the population that simply gave up on thinking over the past decade.

Minnesota just launched our statewide paid leave program.

Starting today new parents, small business owners, and people recovering from illness or injury will have the security to take needed time off work without risking their paycheck.

Old school Republicans are toppled by the Tea Party movement.

The Tea Party Movement is toppled by MAGA

MAGA is being toppled by white supremacists and anti-semites.

The GOP will find the bottom, eventually.

There are a lot of genuinely good faith conservative outcasts who are baffled about the current state of the GOP, but the hard truth is that this started decades ago with Gingrich, accelerated with the Tea Party movement, and climaxed with MAGA. They could have stopped it but they failed.

Every time I begin to lose interest in remaining constantly active in politics, Republicans do something stupid to reign me back in.

Patiently waiting for my state representatives to condemn this after blasting lukewarm criticisms of Charlie Kirk after his assassination.
If you've followed Trump for any amount of time you shouldn't be surprised by this nor should you be surprised by the cowardice of every conservative who refuses to comment on it.

Conservatives will screech about "breaking tradition" or whatever the hell when they've spent the past two decades doing their best to tear the country apart in all ways.
Either impeach the conservative majority on the Supreme Court or expand it to invalidate their numerical advantage. The only thing they're reliable at is bending the rules to benefit their political allies.

3 Questions:

1) What are we doing?
2) How is this pro-life?
3) What are we doing?

This Supreme Court will bend over backwards to justify some of the most heinous actions of Republicans across the country. The conservative majority on it is not independent; it takes it marching orders from the MAGA movement.

I'm sure that there will be plenty of post-mortem analyses from pundits after this special election on whether or not the Behn campaign made mistakes or could have used different strategies, but even if any of it is true that makes the Republican underperformance look even worse

State Republicans can pretend to think that their win in TN-07 was inevitable but the fact is that they were so terrified to lose that they brought in their national handlers to carry them to a single-digit win in a district designed to be as uncompetitive as possible.
December 3, 2025 at 2:35 AM
Regardless of how the District 7 special election goes in a couple of days, that fact that it's even competitive is already a massive victory for @aftynbehn.bsky.social and Democrats in a state that has been controlled by Republican autocrats for nearly fifteen years.

Can you imagine if the Times and Post and CNN reacted to every time DHS explicitly endorsed neo-Nazism with the same kind of screaming headlines that they did every time Biden stumbled over a world leader’s name?
November 28, 2025 at 7:40 PM
I occasionally look at the social media feeds of my representatives and it's all the same disinformation being reposted nonstop. Like after fifteen years in power rooted deep inside their own echo chambers they've lost the ability to critically think.

I think when Biden was president, Republicans mostly understood that voters wanted an impossible fall in the nominal price level so Trump should promise them that.

But now that Trump is president, voters want him to deliver on his impossible promise and he is semi-fucked.
