Actually fuck this person, they were a terrible person and friend (and probable narcissist), and I have made so many actually good and close friends since this that I haven't felt that void sensation since I met them all. AND these friends know I have BPD and want to help me when I need them.

The reason so many traumatized people become funny little guys is because laughter was often the only positive feedback they got from those who traumatized them and so kept up being funny to continuously create a positive feedback loop to pause their cycle of trauma for any amount of time
