WHY did my Reese's cup have 9 paper cups on it? I peeled one off, then saw there was another, so I peeled that off and ended up with a thick stack of 7, and assuming that was all, I took a bite only to bite into the final 9th cup.

I can no longer tell if I'm holding up surprisingly well right now because I did all of my grieving for the future back in 2024 or if I have just reached a state of emergency dissociation so extreme that I will not be feeling my feelings until 2026.

If I had a nickel for every time I had to raise a toddler during a recession, I'd have two nickels--which isn't much, but weird that it's happened twice.
