It’s just such a good example of “metal”. Madvilliany is one of my all time favourite hip-hop albums.

Motorpsycho's 2010 "Heavy Metal Fruit" is one of my fav prog rock albums.

Black Country, New Road's 2022 "Ants from Up There" is a wonderful alt/prog rock with a bit of jazz in the mix.

And if you aren't scared of a bit of flamenco, Rosalía just released LUX, which is unlike anything else. 2/2

From this year I'm loving the new Wednesday record "Bleeds", is a cute album with a mix of country and shoegaze with a grunge flair sometimes.

Alvvays' 2022 album "Blue Rev" is a cute poppy album that reminds me to the Smiths sometimes.

BTW the year I was 16 Mastodon's Leviathan and Queen Of The Stone Age's Songs for the Deaf were released, and those two album fucking slap.

Well you have your favourites, which is fair. But sometimes listening to an imperfect album is just as good as an experience as listening to that legendary one that change the course of music.

I just... love music too much haha and I always enjoy discovering new interesting artists/sounds.

I enjoy music from many different decades and I try to keep an eye on what is being released today. And there are still plenty of good and interesting music, new sounds being developed etc. Listening just the classics over and over again doesn't make sense to me when there is so much more music out.

Well well, that's a bit reductionists. I love classic bands like Black Sabbath or Pink Floyd, they still sound amazing today. But that's not everything, and the fact they were first and influenced everything that came after doesn't mean that bands that came after aren't as valid or interesting.

Thank you! 😊

Thanks! I did it back when Neon Dynasty was released and I haven't printed in (at least) two years. It never was one of the most popular ones and I forgot about it. But some people asked for it recently so why not bringing it back.
