Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

Egg has been a token that many Magic The Gathering players have asked me about over the last few events, so it's finally here! And while I did the regular egg token why not making the dinosaur egg as well? Almost the same illustration for almost the same token.

What perfect album came out when you were 16?
2004 brought some amazing albums that I defo didn't listened until later.
The same year were also released Converge's You Fail Me, MCR's Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, MF DOOM's MM.. FOOD and Ulver's Teachings in Silence.

So this week I finally gathered the courage to fight Malenia in my first ER's playthrough (which is also my first FromSoft game). I've struggled a lot with this game so I was prepared for an impossible challenge. But somehow I beat her in my second try and it felt very easy? I don't understand.

This was the original illustration I did for the BG Insect token. When I updated the design of my tokens I couldn't find it, so I had to paint another one. The other day while looking for something else I found it! So I did a few changes and now it's G inset haha.

Metal tokens!
I did some metal tokens for the last couple of events and since people seemed to like then I expanded the range a bit. I also made a more elaborate frame so they look a bit fancier 😁

Oh! Any recommendations of decboxes that can hold 220+ cards (ideally I'd include some tokens)? Not looking for anything fancy, just practical.
Inspired by @tolariancommunitycollege.com 's fantastic video about casual formats (link in comments) I decided to build a battle box. It features card from every Ravnica block and leans heavily into guilds. I don't think I've included anything too broken (we'll see).

On top of the deck list each player will get 5 basic lands and 5 gates (one player will get the 5 ally gates and the other the 5 enemy ones).

"Arboreal Aberration" is the latest illustration I've done for my personal project. It's being a slow process, but at least I'm happy with what I've done so far.
