When I sow seeds, I use soil with a small amount of coconut fiber. Sometimes the roots lose their way, but most of the time it works well. Replanting is a waste of time, so this is the simplest and best method for me.

Note: The roots need air. Please don’t fill it completely with water.

In summer, rice straw is used to prevent the soil from drying out and to suppress weeds.

How is it in your country? Do you use grasses or other plants from the grass family in a similar way?

Like coffee, ginkgo leaves can inhibit plant growth, so please be cautious.

So I added rice bran and soil over the pathway and turned it into a space for making leaf mold.

Add water and mix well. The mixture should be firm enough to form a clump when lightly squeezed by hand. After two or three days, the bokashi fertilizer will be ready.
