Yep and one reason I put up with (the few, mostly it's good) oddities of the GSD with its tiny 20" wheels. It helps.

Hence why the UA wears studs longer in my garage vs the GSD - I feel sooo much safer. Even when I have slid or wiped out, the actual distance the kids go / turn to the side is small and you pick up and start pedalling

They don’t do anything for sticky icy stuff anyways - which was mostly the issue today and not the small layer of snow in a few spots

Thin cracking layer of ice everywhere. Didn’t lose grip anywhere but was going about 60% normal speeds at best and much slower on hills and curves
